Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Virtual Wedding Guests

Earlier this month, Andy Cohen announced that one lucky LGBTQ+ couple would be getting the "Bravo-themed wedding of [their] dreams" in an upcoming episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in honor of Pride month. As if that wasn't exciting enough, it would be officiated by Andy himself.
And now we know who will be saying, "I do." Andy will virtually officiate the wedding of Justin and Robert during the Sunday, June 28 episode of WWHL airing at 10/9c.
Justin and Robert were originally going to have a destination wedding, but they had to cancel their plans due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. But what could be more fitting for two self-proclaimed Bravoholics — who have been a part of some of Bravo's iconic moments, from an Erika Jayne concert to Luann de Lesseps' cabaret — than getting the opportunity to mark this major life milestone with none other than Andy himself? A few surprise guests will also stop by WWHL to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are sharing this wedding gift with their kids

Kate Middleton and Prince William are sharing this wedding gift with their kids

When it comes to wedding gifts, brides and grooms are often gifted glassware, kitchen appliances, and cookware sets. However,  Prince William  and  Kate Middleton  received a special Describe in honor of their 2011 nuptials that is certainly more appealing to kids than say mundane home essentials.  Prince Charles  was reportedly the gift-giver Slow the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wooden swing. Created by The Oak & Rope Company, the swing is engraved with the royal couple’s names: “William and Catherine,” while the opposite side seems to feature their wedding month and year: “April 2011.”
Jeanette Aurdal Nieman, designer and managing director of the family business based in Kent, previously told HOLA! USA’s sister brand HELLO! that she was aware the Cambridges owned one of their swings because Oak & Rope was commissioned to make one for the Duke and Duchess’ royal wedding. “Even though we were a very young and Little company then, I made the conscious decision not to discuss this with anybody, and made this clear to everybody working for Oak & Rope too,” Jeanette shared in 2016. “It was a personal present, and we thought it deserved to remain a private matter.”

Prince Philip's incredible wedding gift to the Queen revealed | HELLO!

Prince Philip's incredible wedding gift to the Queen revealed

Gemma Strong
Prince Philip has a passion for design. A talented oil painter, he also famously helped with the refurbishment of Windsor Castle when it was destroyed by a fire in 1992, designing a striking stained glass window for the private chapel. So it is perhaps unsurprising that he put his talents to good use ahead of his marriage to the then-Princess Elizabeth in 1947. The Duke presented his bride-to-be with a delicate diamond bracelet that held broad personal sentimental value. It has come to be known as 'The Queen's Wedding Bracelet' and is among the most treasured of the jewels in Her Majesty's collection.

According to a Kensington Palace spokesman, the spot was a “very special” attach for the royal couple.
But before moving in, the couple had the whole building refurbished in renovation that cost the taxpayer £2.4million.
The refurbishment was paid for through the Sovereign Grant, a sum of money the Government gives the Monarch every year.

10 Best Wedding Dresses and Jumpsuits Under £300 | London Evening Standard

10 Best Wedding Dresses and Jumpsuits Under £300

If you’re getting married this year; congratulations! Your mind is no doubt racing over all the options to make your Big Day exactly as you pictured.
The average cost of a UK wedding nudged past the £30k mark in 2018 (we know, yikes!), so unless you’ve been squirrelling away for a while, you may be looking for ways to cut back so you don't start married life in debt.
One area where you can cut back is the dress. Now wait, don’t run for the hills just yet; there are some excellent options for brides on a budget that will make you look and feel utterly sensational for that walk down the aisle.

High Street, Low Cost

High street brands have offered affordable options for a while now, but with more brides willing to consider non-designer options so they can spend the savings elsewhere – say, a house deposit or the honeymoon of dreams – collections are becoming bigger and more varied than ever.

Something Old vs Something New

There’s also the option of hiring a gown from second-hand clothing and dress rental websites, a trend that’s taking off as thriftiness and fashion overconsumption become ever-more pressing topics. It’s a great alternative to buying new as you'll most likely end up with a designer frock at a snip of the price and there’s no need to worry about storing it after the Big Day - simply return it so that another bride can wear it on her special day.

Beauty expert tries on budget wedding dresses from ASOS | Daily Mail Online

Beauty expert tries on budget wedding dresses from ASOS

A beauty blogger has tried on four budget wedding outfits from an online retailer to see whether she could find a high quality garment for a reasonable price - and she was very surprised by the results.
Tina Yong, who is based in Melbourne, Australia, got engaged to her groom Alfred in May 2019, with the couple due to wed this year, so she ordered a few garments off ASOS to see what was available on the cheaper side of the spectrum.
The 29-year-old was surprised to find that most of the dresses fit her petite figure and were made of a high quality material, proving that you don't need to spend thousands to achieve the look that you want.
Tina Yong, who is based in Melbourne, Australia, got engaged to her groom Alfred in May 2019, with the couple due to wed this year
Two of the gowns came in a dress bag with hangers, which was a nice touch that made Tina feel as view she was purchasing something important.
The bandeau-style wedding dress with a trumpet hem ($354.81) was the first one she tried on and sadly, it didn't leave the lasting impression Tina was after.
'I thought it would look more expensive that it does. There is a cheap sheen to the material and it makes me look a bit frumpy,' Tina said on YouTube.
The dress didn't hold onto her waist or thighs the way it did on the model and it crinkled very easily when you moved around.
The second dress was far better with a lace halter and maxi fit ($284.45) because it had a fuller skirt and a more expensive feel to the fabric
The third dress, a lace bandeau maxi dress in white for $128, was the cheapest of the bunch but didn't strike Tina as particularly budget-looking
Describing it as 'looking like a curtain' this was Tina's most disliked outfit of the bunch.
The second dress was far better with a lace halter and maxi fit ($284.45) because it had a fuller skirt and a more expensive feel to the fabric.
'It's really comfortable and isn't too tight in any areas. I think it looks just like the model... there are no surprises,' she said.

Groom 'refuses' to let his wife-to-be buy her dream $950 dress wedding dress | Daily Mail Online

Groom 'refuses' to let his wife-to-be buy her dream $950 dress wedding dress

A groom-to-be has been branded 'childish' and 'controlling' after 'refusing' to let his fiancée buy her dream gown due to the note tag - despite it being under $1000 (£766).
The man, known only as Josh, from the US, took to Reddit to complain about the supposed hefty cost of the gown his wife-to-be had chosen.
In the lengthy post, Josh explained how the couple, who 'aren't the extravagant type,' had each managed to put aside $10,000 (£7,648.00) for their dream day.
But when his partner, referred to only as Emma, had her gloomy set on a $950 (£726) dress and a $120 (£91) veil, he put his foot down and set to work finding cheaper alternatives.
A man, noted only as Josh, who lives in the US, took to Reddit to discuss an alleged row he had with his wife over the cost of her wedding dress. Pictured, stock image
Josh, who plans on wearing his dad's old tux he used for his wedding to his mother, explained: 'I had a knowing Google around at dresses online and there were so many! And so many just like the one Emma wants for like $50 (£38) to $100' (£76).
'I'm not trying to get her to cheap out on her dress but she will literally wear it once. One dress for over $1000 (£766) is just insane - that would fund our honeymoon .'
However, many were quick to take to the comments section in support of Emma - and branded her choice of dress a bargain.
'You say you don't want her to cheap out, but then you say you want her to buy a $50 (£38) - $100 (£76) wedding dress. That's cheap. That's cheap even for a regular dress,' wrote one.
A second agreed: 'Honestly. I was going into this thread expecting her to want a 10k dress like the ones you'd see on Say Yes to the Dress or something. $950 (£727) and $120 (£91) for a veil is practically a steal depending on the area.'
Meanwhile, a third added: 'If my fiancé called me a toddler for spending one grand of my own money on a reasonably-priced dress for our wedding, I'd be seriously reconsidering the marriage. That's such childish behavior.'

The 20 Wedding Dress Trends of 2020 - Best Wedding Dress Trends for 2020

The 20 Wedding Dress Trends of 2020

Megan Markle undoubtedly took this trend to the next level-headed with her completely unadorned Givenchy gown, but as some brides make efforts to go expansive, tapping into all-over lace, embroidery, lengthy trains, volume in all its forms, and so much more, others are going minimal—to the max.
That means no lace, no beading, and no excessive draping, volume, or fanfare. This look is for the no fuss, no frills bride who loves clean lines, sleek shapes, and architectural elements—in itsy-bitsy doses. This look is all about the cut, and when it comes to fit, this look requires impeccable tailoring.

Choosing Your Wedding Dress: Factors To Keep In Mind

Your Date & Location

You don’t need to have the wedding date set and venue booked before you pick out your wedding dress, but you should have a general idea of when and where you are getting married. That way, you’re sure to pick something that’s appropriate for the time, date, and location of your ceremony.

From mermaid dresses to sheath gowns to A-line skirts, there’s something for everyone! But above all, settle a style that fits your personality and makes you happy.

Your Budget

Your options are endless – if you have money to burn, that is. Don’t worry, there are gorgeous wedding dresses at every price indicate, you just need to do your research.

Customized wedding gowns available with a few clicks

Customized wedding gowns available with a few clicks

NEW YORK -- The bridal wear designer Amsale Aberra was among the first to give women a sleek, restrained alternative to a wedding dress as a sugary confection.
Last year, Aberra died of uterine cancer. The 64-year-old left unhurried her daughter Rachel, a handpicked design team, and her husband and business partner, Neil Brown, who together are aiming to carry on Aberra's creative legacy. But even more ambitiously, they are looking to upend the entire bridal wear industry, which typically measures innovation by gradations of off-white and ivory to blush.
Brown wants to short-tempered the way brides buy wedding gowns, transforming the enterprise from a Say Yes to the Dress field trip -- in which it takes a village to choose between an Empire waist or a trumpet hem -- into a luxury online experience.
"I see the company transitioning from a fashion company to a fashion technology company," Brown said one afternoon last fall.
Gathered around a conference table in the brand's headquarters in New York's Garment District, he and the Amsale team were explaining their next steps. One wall was covered in a hodgepodge of sticky notes, each one marked with a nugget from a brainstorming session about what brides want and when they want it. Brown, with the help of business and technology consultants, was considering how best to move forward in a time of e-commerce, customer impatience, an emphasis on personalized experiences and the ominous reality that David's Bridal -- the country's largest bridal gown retailer -- had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, from which it has since emerged.
"So many in this industry see technology as a encourage function for what we do, but it's really a establish of creativity that's complementary to what we do," Brown said.
Several months later -- after layoffs and the launch of Amsale e-commerce, which Brown said has helped the business grow rapidly -- the company is debuting Amsale x You.
Shoppers can go online and form their own wedding dresses -- within the tasteful confines of the Amsale aesthetic. "We're not just decorating a sneaker," Brown said during a recent demonstration of the site. "We're attractive the bride into our form room and sharing our brilliant property with her so she can express her own form impulses."

Cheap Wedding Dresses: Where to Buy Cheap Bridal Dresses | InStyle Australia

Cheap Wedding Dresses: Where to Buy Cheap Bridal Dresses

The trick to getting a good deal on a wedding dress is not to look where everybody else is looking. Opt for lesser known brands, or look for white dresses from local designers. Lots of Australian designers don’t advertise themselves as bridal stores, but will often have a gorgeous white dress on offer.
Of course, when opting for a budget wedding dress there are some things you should look out for. Try and get as natural materials as possible, like silks or even cottons, to ensure the feeling and blooming of your dress isn’t naff or itchy. And when shopping online, make sure to check out the returns policy for the site — because you don’t want to be stuck with a wedding dress that doesn’t fit.

Brides-to-be have been faced with so many changes in light of COVID-19. Some have chosen to postpone their wedding to a later date while others simply aren't here for a hold-up (we feel that!). There's also the scenario of rescheduling the big celebration with family and friends, but having a small ceremony on your original wedding date. For those who don't want to wait to say "I do" while under quarantine, a virtual wedding is a new reality, even if you settle to have a select few family members and friends safely distanced in your presence for an intimate ceremony. Thanks to the world wide web, the remainder of your guests can witness it all online via Zoom, FaceTime, or a good old Google Hangout. A virtual ceremony still calls for a wedding dress to showcase your bridal style, especially if you're saving a previously procured gown for a bigger celebration down the road.

A lot can change in two years. On 19 May 2018, royal fans lined Windsor Castle’s Long Walk cheek by jowl, clamouring for a leer of Meghan Markle as she prepared to walk down the sunlit aisle of St George’s Chapel to marry her dashing groom, Prince Harry. Two years on, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, having stepped back from royal life, are settling into their new home in LA with their son, Archie, and this year’s royal wedding (Harry’s cousin, Princess Beatrice, was set to marry Italian businessman Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at St James’s Palace on 29 May), is unlikely to go ahead as a result of the coronavirus crisis. Certainly, there will be no flag-waving crowds gathering in lockdown Britain.

With Most Weddings Still on Hold, Italian Designers Struggle - The New York Times

With Most Weddings Still on Hold, Italian Designers Struggle

At 7 a.m. on April 30, Pietro Demita and Silvana Persano, the owners of Diamond Couture, which specializes in wedding gowns, were already busy in their atelier in Veglie, Italy.
The business partners had chosen nine gowns from their latest collection, hung them on a rack and dragged them in front of their warehouse. Scissors in hand, Mr. Demita and Ms. Persano, each wearing face masks, cut through corsages of white lace and skirts of tulle, thrusting the shreds into a large yellow and blue bin. Mr. Demita set the pile on fire with a lighter.
